Family-oriented Plano introduces its youth to a wide variety of sports and recreation.
Swimming is a year-round activity at state-of-the-art indoor natatoriums or in one
of the many well-maintained city pools, with classes to teach stroke form, racing form,
water ballet and exercise for all ages. Since 1970, the Plano Sports Authority (PSA)
has offered quality youth sports of all kinds. Sports included football, girls
volleyball, cheerleading, drill team, in-line hockey, baseball, softball, basketball,

The Plano Family YMCA is a branch of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas where every young
person is encouraged to participate in sports and learn the important of good
sportsmanship, character development and fair play. Regardless of size, shape or
fitness level, all individuals benefit from the physical, emotional and spiritual well
